SUMMARY:Grandma Gatewood Overnighter: Beginner Packpacking Event
DESCRIPTION:Join MoonDoggie and fellow Buckeye Trail colleague\, Morgan Thomas for a two-day event in honor of Grandma Gatewood. The event will take place on April 26-27th and will introduce participants to backpacking and day hiking in the Edge of Appalachia Preserve System. The first day will consist of setting up camp\, 5-mile hike in the preserve and returning to MoonDoggie for dinner and campfire stories. The second day\, Grandma Gatewood Day\, will include a 5-mile hike on the Buckeye Trail\, West Union Section. Dinner\, camping\, and shuttles for hiking will be provided. Participants are asked to bring their own tent\, hiking gear\, lunch/snacks\, and breakfast. Cost is $125. \n \n
